Why does sesshomaru hate inuyasha

His hatred grew when Inuyasha became the master of the Tessaiga. When Inuyasha swears to protect Kagome from Sesshomaru, the Tessaiga pulses and transforms into a large fang, claiming Inuyasha as its owner. Inuyasha concludes their father must have intended to give the sword to him since his father's tomb was in his eye.

The Tessaiga is a sword of protection. In contrast, Sesshomaru lacks empathy towards humans and is unworthy. He attempts to steal the Tessaiga by joining forces with Naraku and even creating a new sword called the Tokijin to match the power of the Tessaiga. However, he fails to achieve his goal. Rin, an orphaned girl, sees Sesshomaru badly injured and decides to give him food and water.

Sesshomaru refuses the food, remaining cold and distant from her until he asks about the bruises on her face, which she takes as a sign he's showing interest in her. One day, Rin gets mauled to death by wolf demons, and Sesshomaru uses his Tenseiga to revive Rin. He doesn't hate him, its just a hard thing for him to accept, and most likely he never will, though he will just have to lear to ignore it thats all.

Ehhh, he doesn't like half demons, that's probably it. Not that he would care for a brother even if he was a full demon, this is Sesshomaru we are talking about, he doesn't really give a shit. Wow, I never thought about that, but now that you mention it, I think Sesshoumaru wouldn't be the person he becomes if their father hadn't died anime spoilers: If the father hadn't died, they wouldn't have inherited the swords yet, Inuyasha wouldn't have been able to injure Sesshoumaru so severely, and he might never have met Rin.

Still, I find it very likely that he'd resent Inuyasha even more than he resents him early in the series, and perhaps resent his father even more. I can't imagine how he'd take knowing his father was off raising that child with that woman. If Sesshomaru-sama doesn't want to get along with Inuyasha-sama, thats not his fault! He's a flippin half-demon! In the movie where Move spoiler: Sesshomaru-sama and Inuyasha-sama work together because there lives are in danger. But it's so weird that their father wants them to get along! Sesshomaru-sama let Rin into his life for one purpose: manga spoiler: She wanted to help him and he brought her back to life, she just followed him and he let her. And that's the oly reason, but the thing is, Sesshomaru-sama hates his little brother Oh gawd, now I'm starting to call him 'little brother' because he inhereited the Tetsiauga, but I don't think thats the only reason.

I think its because he is also his half-brother, half-demon. He is not his full brother because of both the women their father fell in love with because they are not realated!
