I often wonder if Eliezer had a long discussion with Isaac to discover the qualities he was looking for in a mate. Since Isaac was a forty-year-old bachelor, it makes sense to me that he had some idea of what he wanted, and directed Eliezer himself. Like Eliezer, we can be bold and ask God for specifics.
